Sharon (Mother of the Bride)

This past weekend my daughter got married in Jersey Shore. It was a destination wedding, half way between families in Connecticut and Michigan, with 100 guests making the journey. My daughter chose the spot for the beauty of the mountains and foliage. At 8:30 am on the morning of the wedding, I received a call from the caterer cancelling for the day. I immediately went into panic mode and started calling vendors we had worked with for the wedding desserts and venue. I also called one of the top caterers in the area, The Food Guy, hoping for help and advice. When I explained our situation, Ben took 5 minutes to check with his staff and somehow pulled out a miracle. Even though he already had multiple events that day, he was able to provide us with delicious food, a wonderful bartender (Jess) whose smile brightened up the reception and a fantastic staff who came in on their day off to work an outdoor event on a cold, rainy day. Other people from the community offered help serving food or bartending. I was overwhelmed. We did come to Jersey Shore/Williamsport for the beautiful scenery, but it is the beautiful people I will remember most. I sincerely thank Ben and Jess Marzo and their staff, Tara, Ashley and many others who gave of themselves to make it a wonderful day for my family. I am forever grateful for your generosity and caring spirits.
